Legalising NY casinos won't hurt Atlantic City according to Trump
Casino mogul Donald Trump said that legalising casinos in New York won't hurt gambling in Atlantic City. He added that Atlantic City would remain a gambling mecca despite the cross-state competition.
“Atlantic City will be a place that will have giant casinos, and those giant casinos, because of their location to each other and the ocean nearby, will do just fine,” Trump commented.
Trump also did not rule out developing a casino proposition in NY, but called the prospect of a New York City casino 'a mixed bag.'
“It depends on what the plan is,” he said.
