MGM to launch cashless casino games

MGM Resorts International's Chairman and CEO Jim Murren has revealed that the company is preparing a cashless casino game similar to social media game Farmville, which will provisionally be launched in June. Murren called it 'Casino Mogul', but added that MGM and its partners have no yet decided the name.  

“The next big thing for our industry is a convergence,”  he added, explaining that major casino companies have a 'huge opportunity' to collaborate with people who develop and play games on Facebook and other social media, and these Internet gamers are the same demographics the casinos are working to attract.
