MRG gets behind UK bookmakers

ICE Totally Gaming exhibitor MRG Systems has announced that it is making significant strides to assist the UK’s community of independent bookmakers.  The Gloucestershire-based company has announced an initiative which will see it provide its BIDS5 software free of charge for a period of three months, to any group of LBOs already paying for the SISdata365. A service which, according to Sales & Marketing Manager Ian Hunter, will allow the operation of a basic studio service for its own group.

MRG stated that it was able to make the offer as, following months of development, it has the ability to drive the ALBOS 2 shop hardware. Ian Hunter confirmed: "BIDS5 is the most automated screen system available for LBOs, allowing a reduced number of staff to run it.  The only cost the bookmaker will have to pay is for the Shop Server PC that will be required for any shop taking part in the three months free offer.  This will remain the bookmaker’s property, whatever they decide at the end of that offer period." In addition, MRG is researching how the Bet Automation Feed provided by SIS could be used to run a very basic screen system for individual shops.
